John Myers and his team have travelled to many exotic lands and visited numerous remote locations and a selection of the images that their various travels and treks have produced appear on these website pages.
John Myers has filmed, directed, edited and produced a wide range of travel dvd programmes with the emphasis on travelling and trekking worldwide. With the inclusion of music and commentary, each volume in the ‘World in Focus’ travel dvd series is approximately 30 minutes long and is available on dvd for PAL and NTSC television systems
‘I was inspired into travel photography by watching an adventure travel movie many years ago. I have led and filmed numerous treks in the Andes and Himalaya as well as taken the camera equipment on less strenuous travels. I have carried a professional digital camera and tripod over rough terrain at high altitudes to capture the shots I needed. The finished product is a great reward for me as my travel dvd series can now boast a preview to some of the world’s superb vistas. The natural world is a beautiful place. I hope you enjoy our travel dvds. They offer images of faraway distant lands, capturing the enticing scenic atmosphere of the district, and the customs and culture of the local people and their environment’
