A trek to the Lost World opens with scenes of the capital, Caracas. An excursion to the magnificent Gran Sabana in the south east of the country leads to the start of the trek to the top of the magical and mysterious Mt Roraima, Conan Doyle's Lost World. Taking off from Canaima, there is a spectacular flight over the National Park to see Auyantepui, another tabletop mountain, over which flows the Angel Falls.
