The country lies astride the widest section of the great Andean mountain chain. In this travel guide DVD, we show one of the most challenging trekking routes, the almost complete traverse of the Cordillera Real, the Royal Mountain range, which stretches 100 miles from Lake Titicaca to the Capital, La Paz. Indian people and their pack animals have used these mountain paths for countless years. To acclimatise for the trek, some time is spent in La Paz as well as on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
