Bolivia, a
land-locked country offers the visitor an amazing panorama of
contrasts. It offers the snow-capped Andean peaks, low-lying Savanna
grasslands and tropical rainforests of the Amazon and Parana River
basins. La Paz, the capital, lies in a bowl in the altiplano about
4kms above sea level, and is dominated by the towering Mt. Illimani.
From lake Titicaca in the north to the salt lakes in the south,
Bolivia is a superb country to visit.
