Venezuela
Oil money has
turned the country into one of the most industrialized and wealthy
states on the continent. Caracas, the capital, is indeed a modern
large and vibrant city. The country’s Caribbean coastline is long
and spectacular. To the west lies the northern tip of the great
Andean mountain range; whilst to the south lies the wilderness area
of the Amazon basin. Probably the most fascinating area to visit is
the south east of Venezuela, the land of the tepuis, flat-topped
mountains, savanna plains, rivers and waterfalls. The Angel Falls
are the highest in the world.
